I don't
have much experience swimming in open water and was
therefore very uncomfortable training or competing anywhere
other than a pool. But, I tried the SwimSafe last weekend at
Walden Pond in Concord, MA, and I comfortably did several 10
minute repeats to the middle of the pond and back. I was so
comforted by the SwimSafe that I could relax and focus on my
stroke, instead of worrying about drowning.

I had a participant in my open-water training
class who weighed around 250 pounds. He said he did not feel
SwimSafe would float him if he had to deploy it in an
emergency. I gave him my SwimSafe and let him try it out.
Much to his surprise , when he deployed SwimSafe, it floated
him easily. Your product works!

I train in a lake behind my house, towing a
pool buoy strapped to my ankle. The strap cuts my ankle, and
makes it difficult to swim. Since SwimSafe is light and
compact, I can now train easily. Your product will allow me
to train more often, more efficiently, and swim longer
distances.

SwimSafe is the answer for my open-water swim training. Now
I can swim as often and as long as I want without worrying
about it. Plus my wife feels better about me training with
SwimSafe on.

I sometimes do
the swim and I sometimes chicken out. I usually go to a race
and visually survey the swim course, and if I feel there is
not enough safety support in the water I don't race. I am
now pregnant and want to be extra careful. With SwimSafe I
don't have to worry about the swim anymore. What a great
product! I will definitely tell my friends, and the people I
meet swimming about SwimSafe.

SwimSafe is the
edge I need when I train in the ocean. I can't even tell I
have SwimSafe on, yet it gives me a sense of peace, and
allows me to swim confidently. Using SwimSafe just makes
sense!

The timing
of the review of SwimSafe in USA Triathlon Life was
perfect. I had just qualified for the IronMan in
Hawaii. I have been there before and the last time got
a bad calf cramp while swimming before the race. While
I obviously survived it could have been other wise and I
often thought that what is needed is a small version of
an inflatable PFD. I will be feeling a bit more secure
this year using SwimSafe!
